Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while handling diverse legal matters primarily in the healthcare sector, including mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, lease negotiations, and labor and employment law.

Duties:

  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth transactions and compliance with all applicable laws
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including partnership agreements, service contracts, and construction-related documents
  • Handle matters related to labor and employment law, advising clients on policies, compliance, and dispute resolution
  • Provide legal counsel on business transactions, acquisitions, and healthcare-specific legal issues
  • Research legal issues and develop strategies for case resolutions
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders regarding case status, legal options, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure effective legal representation

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in corporate law, mergers, and acquisitions, and/or healthcare law
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to client service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate law, business transactions, and healthcare law
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
  • Proficient in legal research and analysis
