Preg O’Donnell & Gillett, a well-respected law firm in Seattle, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in construction defect, product liability, personal injury, business litigation, and/or complex multi-party cases. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and proofreading skills, a good understanding of e-discovery, and the ability to multitask.

Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE)
Department: Legal
Location: Downtown Seattle

Responsibilities:

- Provide computer litigation support, including e-discovery
- Create and maintain databases with witness information and document productions
- Review, organize, and index produced documents, maintaining privilege logs
- Prepare declarations, notices, and discovery requests
- Review and assemble documents for depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
- Draft and answer interrogatories
- Prepare witness and expert witness lists
- Review briefs and organize exhibits
- Assist with mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Qualifications:

- At least 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Experience with ProLaw and Trial Director preferred
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills
- Understanding of e-discovery processes
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Collaborative team player
