PwC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join our Exempt Organizations team within our United States National Tax services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of tax-exempt organizations, including colleges and universities, healthcare entities, foundations, supporting organizations, and cultural and religious organizations.

As a Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate through emerging tax issues and trends, as well as developing successful tax strategies in response to legislative, federal, and judicial tax developments. You will also assist charities in achieving measurable results, such as obtaining and preserving tax-exempt status, identifying planning opportunities, and complying with tax requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations. A Juris Doctorate degree is preferred, and knowledge in accounting and taxation is a plus. Additionally, job seekers must meet all the minimum requirements for CPA or Bar licensure per respective state regulations, and certifications such as CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar are preferred.

As a tax technical professional at PwC, you will have the opportunity to research business and industry trends, develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals, and consider opportunities across multiple lines of service. You will also have the chance to work with automation and digitization in a professional services environment, innovate through new and existing technologies, and use data visualization tools to work with large, complex data sets. Additionally, you will be involved in pricing, client value, and the negotiation process, including reviewing contracts and finding new pricing options.
