A law firm in Arlington is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in General Liability, with experience in other practice areas considered a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for file review, legal analysis, extensive research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and trial preparation. Exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills are crucial. Duties:

• Review and analyze claims and causes of action in General Liability cases.
• Conducted extensive legal research and drafted substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Regularly represent clients in court, mediation, and depositions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Some travel may be required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Liability; experience in other practice areas is a plus.
• . degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in the State of Virginia; admission in other states is a plus.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid research abilities and written and oral communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage, and work in a team environment.
• Excellent client skills and telephone manners.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

Must be admitted to practice in the State of Virginia; admission in other states is a plus.
