Are you passionate about social justice and making a difference in your community? Do you have an interest in the legal field and want to gain hands-on experience? Look no further, LSNV is looking for Paralegal Interns to join our team and support our mission of providing access to justice to the indigent and underserved.

LSNV is a non-profit organization that provides free civil legal services to low-income individuals and families in Northern Virginia. Our team of attorneys and staff are dedicated to helping those in need navigate the complex legal system and receive the representation they deserve. As a Paralegal Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in their day-to-day litigation assignments.

Responsibilities:
• Assist LSNV attorneys in meeting with clients and conducting client interviews
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
• Prepare trial binders and other trial-related materials
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
• Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings with LSNV attorneys
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited paralegal program or a recent graduate
• Strong interest in social justice and public service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
