Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice defense work.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Missouri Bar.
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

Defend complicated medical malpractice and long-term care litigation.
Manage day-to-day case activities.
Strategize and evaluate cases.
Collaborate with expert witnesses.
Negotiate cases.
Prepare for and attend mediations.
Trial preparation.
Communicate with clients and other counsel.
Handle all aspects of the case from responsive pleadings, discovery, and taking fact and plaintiff depositions.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position will be based on experience and qualifications.
