Kanner & Pintaluga, a fast-growing personal injury and property damage law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch legal representation to our clients and ensuring they receive the best care and results.

Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients to discuss their case, show empathy and earn their trust
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers
- Prepare and try cases in court, if needed
- Evaluate claims and determine the best course of action
- Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Work collaboratively with a team

Requirements:

- 6+ years of litigation experience
- Bar admission in Illinois and in good standing
- Experience with personal injury trials, as first chair, in 7-10 cases
- Knowledge of how to evaluate claims
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented mindset
