Overview:

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal I to join our growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a full-time position in our litigation department, specifically as an e-discovery paralegal. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of legal matters and interact with clients, witnesses, and team members at all levels of the company. Responsibilities:

- Research and analyze legal sources to respond to subpoenas and other legal matters for the AmTrust group of companies.
- Utilize AmTrust's in-house e-discovery platform to collect, review, redact, and produce documents.
- Communicate with various stakeholders regarding e-discovery needs.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Support attorneys and non-attorneys in responding to subpoenas, litigation discovery requests, and other legal matters.
- Stay current with industry trends and demands.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of paralegal experience.
- Formal paralegal certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with document review and production.
- Knowledge of rules for responding to discovery requests in litigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
