Duties:

  • Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
  • Provide compassionate and effective legal representation to clients.
  • Prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and offer strategic legal advice.
  • Present cases in court, represent clients before judicial officers, and attend case-related proceedings.
  • Manage caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and maintain open communication to contribute to the firm's success.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in family law with a solid understanding of key legal principles.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Colorado State Bar.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for effectively conveying legal concepts.
  • Keen attention to detail in legal documentation and case management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining productivity.
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong professional references supporting legal expertise and work ethic.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Colorado State Bar.
