- Base salary for associate positions: $200,000 - $275,000, depending upon class year

Primary Job Functions:

- Proactively manage deadlines across multiple clients and matters
- Communicate effectively and timely with clients and colleagues
- Conduct legal research and analysis, explaining complicated concepts in a straightforward manner
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and examine witnesses at trial
- Strong writing skills for letters, pleadings, and motions
- Draft strategic discovery requests and responses, review documents efficiently for case analysis and trial preparation
- Comfortable speaking and leading discussions, including with clients
- Attend and participate in practice group meetings and events

Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

- Highly experienced in federal and California civil procedure, familiarity with ADR procedures a plus
- Knowledge of contract claims, business torts, profit participations, and the Talent Agency Act
- Pragmatic, takes pride in work, and exercises excellent judgment

Education and Experience:

- 2-6 years of post-law school experience
- Membership in California Bar
- Strong academic credentials
