Job Title: Bilingual Paralegal for Farmworker Rights Program
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in immigration or labor law preferred

Responsibilities:

Become knowledgeable about the Deferred Action for Workers in Labor Disputes program and eligibility requirements
Screen clients for eligibility and assess the best course of action
Support direct representation of eligible farmworkers
Engage in client-centered advocacy and respond to clients quickly throughout the process
Attend mandatory program trainings
Co-create and present training materials and educational campaigns about the deferred action program

Preferred Skills:

Life experience within the farmworker community
Cultural competence and cross-cultural communication skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Passion for advocacy
Fluency in Spanish
California driver's license and vehicle
