Law Firm Seeking Experienced Public Company Associate for Capital Markets Practice

The law firm O’Melveny is currently looking for a qualified fourth or fifth year associate to join their Public Company Advisory group in Silicon Valley. This role will focus on providing guidance and support to public companies in the areas of securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the securities laws and a demonstrated interest in public company compliance and corporate governance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide day-to-day securities law counseling to public company clients
• Assist with SEC reporting and corporate governance matters
• Work closely with other members of the Public Company Advisory group
• Opportunity to work on transactional elements of the practice, including capital markets offerings

Requirements:

• Fourth or fifth year associate with strong academic credentials
• Solid understanding of securities laws
• Demonstrated interest in public company compliance and corporate governance
• Excellent communication skills

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range of $250,000 - $295,000
• Actual compensation dependent on experience, qualifications, and location
