Job Summary

The Family Law Attorney is a mid-level attorney with a practice focused on Family law for at least 5+ years. The successful Family Law attorney is self-directed and thrives with lots of support and autonomy. The Family Law Attorney will receive a substantial portion of their work through Gravis Law’s lead generation and marketing and/or other attorneys in the office. Attorneys have access to coaching and support services for Family development and networking.

Job Responsibilities

• Successful record of mediation experience
• Significant and successful trial experience
• Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues
• Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
• Marketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clients
• Performing discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
• Performing due diligence in all matters
• Strong communication and advocacy skills, including competence in empathetic listening
• Performs all other job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
• Excellent legal research skills
• Established book of business
• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
• Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice
• Typically, 5+ years of experience as an attorney

Compensation

• Annual Salary from $75,000 - $110,000+ based on experience
• Insurance: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance
• Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching
• Paid time off: Attorneys receive unlimited PTO for Vacation/Sick days
• Paid Federal Holidays
• Paid Volunteer Time Off: Up to 16 hours annually
• Opportunity to cross train and grow within the organization
