We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Criminal Defense Attorney to join our premier law firm in Salinas, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an admitted attorney to gain valuable experience and grow within an established firm. As the Associate Criminal Defense Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and work alongside our team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on legal rights and draft necessary documents for their cases
- Attend pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice to clients
- Manage court appearances, trials, and conduct legal research
- Analyze potential case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents
- Handle a caseload and collaborate with the Criminal Defense Team
- Provide legal analysis for clients and gather additional evidence to support their case
- Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and experts

Qualifications:

- 2-5 years of Criminal Defense experience
- Experience with complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local level
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Must reside in or near Salinas

Salary Information:

- Pay range: $100,000-$130,000
- Salary may be reconsidered based on experience
