Job Title: Secret Clearance Contract/Principal Contract Administrator
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience for level 2, 6+ years of experience for level 3
Salary Range: $68, - $103, for level 2, $84, - $127, for level 3
Location: Baltimore, MD
Clearance: Secret clearance required
Travel: 10% of the time

Job Summary:
- The Contract Administrator will work with program business management teams to closely monitor contract funding and payments.
- They will review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal/Quotes (RFPs/RFQs) and advise the program team on contractual terms and conditions.
- This role will oversee contract performance, including schedules and deliverables, and ensure company proposals are responsive to customer requirements.
- The Contract Administrator will also interface with internal stakeholders and customer counterparts and negotiate terms and conditions.
- They will administer, negotiate, terminate, and close-out standard and nonstandard contracts.
- This role requires knowledge of FAR/DFARS and US Export Regulations.

Responsibilities for Level 2 Contracts Administrator:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 3+ years of professional experience in contracts, subcontracts, business management, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
- Current/Active DoD Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for Level 2 Contracts Administrator:
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience in contracts administration within the defense industry.
- Experience reading and interpreting legal and contractual requirements.
- Professional experience in a regulated industry such as Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.
- SAP or COGNOS software tool experience.

Responsibilities for Level 3 Contracts Administrator:
- Act as a primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
- Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiations, administration, and customer contract activities.
- Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters and ensure company compliance with contract requirements.
- Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
- Review terms and conditions and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales.
- Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers.
- Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System.
- Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3 Contracts Administrator:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years of experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Management, or related field; or a Master's Degree or JD with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Ability to provide advice on a wide range of contractual and business-related matters.
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters.
- Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and other . Federal Government contracting regulations.
- Experience with various contract types including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursable, and Time and Material contracts.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
- Current/Active DoD Secret, Top Secret, or Top-Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for Level 3 Contracts Administrator:
- Recent experience as a Contracts Professional in the defense industry.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and accomplish them simultaneously.
- Proficient in daily use of Microsoft Office and other PC programs and software.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
