Law Firm Seeks Mid-Level Business Litigation Associate in Cleveland Office

Thompson Hine LLP is seeking a Business Litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and a strong work ethic. Prior clerkship experience is a plus.

As a mid-level associate at Thompson Hine LLP, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex and high-profile litigation matters for clients throughout the United States. Our practice is fast-paced and diverse, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for our attorneys.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Work on a wide range of business litigation matters, including commercial disputes, contract disputes, and other complex cases
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy and manage client relationships
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings as needed

Requirements:

- Three to five years of experience in commercial litigation at a law firm
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Prior clerkship experience preferred, but not required
- Admission to the Ohio bar (or willingness to become admitted)
