Associate Deposition Attorney Job Description at The Gori Law Firm

The Gori Law Firm, a leading asbestos litigation firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join our team as an Associate Deposition Attorney. In this role, you will be responsible for representing clients who have been injured by exposure to asbestos, conducting depositions, and working on assigned asbestos disease cases. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and compassionate towards terminally sick clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients injured by exposure to asbestos
- Prepare assigned asbestos disease cases in a team environment
- Conduct client and witness interviews, both in person and on the phone
- Gather and analyze information from various records
- Prepare and conduct depositions of fact witnesses
- Summarize testimony from fact witness depositions

Requirements:

- 2-5 years of attorney experience, preferably in personal injury or asbestos cases
- Competent to Expert knowledge in legal procedures and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and well-organized
- Ability to problem solve and strategize
- Compassion for helping terminally sick clients
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois
