Position Overview:

- Associate-level in-house counsel
- Collaborate with General Counsel to build a technology-enabled legal organization
- Partner and accelerator to Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Executive teams
- Responsible for drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements
- Advise on data privacy best practices and compliance efforts
- Identify and evaluate business and legal risks, finding creative solutions to mitigate them
- Evolve the legal function with a technology-first approach
- Draft and update contract templates
- Interface with and manage outside counsel
- Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of Evisort products and strategic objectives
- Plan and implement IP protection strategy
- Analyze and provide guidance on evolving laws, rules, regulations, and trends impacting the business

Qualifications:

- JD and membership in good standing in at least one state bar in the United States
- 3+ years of experience practicing law
- In-house experience at a high growth company
- Deep knowledge of commercial technology agreements and data privacy
- Comfortable with non-corporate law and able to defer to subject matter experts
- Business-minded with a focus on helping the business
- Excellent negotiation skills and business judgment
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Passionate about getting things done efficiently and avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy
- High technical aptitude and ability to use technology for the legal function

Salary Information:

- Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience
