Position Summary:

- Partner level civil litigation / insurance defense attorney

Location & Commitments:

- Work Location: Remote position to support litigation in the Panhandle, open to hiring a partner in Alabama licensed in Florida, and open to opening an office in the future

Responsibilities:

- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and attend hearings/proceedings
- Analyze conflicts and negotiate on behalf of clients
- Communicate with associate attorneys, paralegals, and clients
- Maintain client files and meet billing goals

Requirements & Competencies:

- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role
- Florida Bar Admission
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

We are a diverse and forward-thinking law firm, dedicated to changing the way defense firms do business. With no book of business required, this is the perfect opportunity for an attorney with a minimum of 7 years' experience in insurance defense.

The Partner will provide legal counsel to our existing clients and have the opportunity to develop new client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for defending cases from start through trial, as well as serving as a mentor or advisor to our associate attorneys. We are looking for someone with strong communication and time management skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

This is a remote position, with the possibility of opening an office in the future. We are open to hiring a partner who lives in Alabama and is licensed in Florida, as well as a partner who is willing to support litigation in the Panhandle remotely. Our ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in a similar role and be a member of the Florida Bar.
