A law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their team in Saint Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will work primarily with attorneys in the Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit and have the following responsibilities and qualifications:Job Overview: The Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to wind, solar, and battery storage real estate transactions. They will work closely with a team of attorneys, lead scopes of work, manage junior attorneys, and provide expertise in renewable energy real estate law.Duties:Handle renewable energy real estate transactions, including wind, solar, and battery storage projects.Lead scopes of work within the legal team and provide guidance to more junior attorneys.Develop and implement legal strategies and courses of action for renewable energy projects.Provide exceptional judgment and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.Collaborate with clients, negotiate contracts, and draft legal documents related to real estate transactions.Research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations in the renewable energy sector.Represent the firm in legal proceedings and maintain client relationships.Requirements:A minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on renewable energy transactions.Active Bar license in the state of Missouri (MO).Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.Strong commitment to the community and a demonstrated record of working effectively under pressure.Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar license in Missouri (MO).Skills:Proficiency in renewable energy real estate law.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation and contract drafting abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well in a team and lead projects.Strong time management and multitasking skills.Benefits: The firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more, to provide a rewarding and supportive work environment for the successful candidate.
