Job Overview: The Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to wind, solar, and battery storage real estate transactions. They will work closely with a team of attorneys, lead scopes of work, manage junior attorneys, and provide expertise in renewable energy real estate law.

Duties:

  • Handle renewable energy real estate transactions, including wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
  • Lead scopes of work within the legal team and provide guidance to more junior attorneys.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies and courses of action for renewable energy projects.
  • Provide exceptional judgment and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Collaborate with clients, negotiate contracts, and draft legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
  • Represent the firm in legal proceedings and maintain client relationships.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on renewable energy transactions.
  • Active Bar license in the state of Missouri (MO).
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Strong commitment to the community and a demonstrated record of working effectively under pressure.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
