The successful candidate will collaborate closely with lead attorneys, participating in all phases of litigation, with a focus on strategic thinking to achieve client objectives. The role requires excellent research and writing skills, along with 1-5 years of relevant experience in insurance defense litigation. Candidates must be licensed in Louisiana.

Duties:

• Collaborate with lead attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including investigations, case evaluation, discovery, depositions, and trial presentation.
• Emphasize strategic thinking to meet client objectives and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Evaluate and report on cases, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• Maintain a general familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Louisiana.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills.
