Duties

  • Advise clients on commercial real estate transactions, including financings and workouts.
  • Handle transactions related to real estate finance, purchase and sale, and joint ventures.
  • Manage matters independently and interact directly with clients.
  • Draft legal documents with strong attention to detail.
  • Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals, providing guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of real estate transactional experience, preferably from a large law firm.
  • Proven ability to manage matters independently and interact comfortably with clients.
  • Strong drafting skills appropriate to experience level.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience supervising junior attorneys and paralegals.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Member of the Bar in the United States.

Skills

  • Proficiency in real estate finance, purchase and sale transactions, and joint ventures.
  • Excellent drafting and document preparation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members effectively.
