# Paralegal - Document Review ## Job Description UnitedLex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Document Review team. The hourly rate is $21 per hour with a flexible schedule of hours per week. Prior document review experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide state-of-the-art training for all new hires. The following benefits are available after a minimum qualification period: * Access to group health plan (medical, dental, and vision) * Three paid holidays per year (Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). * Basic Life * PTO Immediately upon starting, the following benefits are available: * 401(k) and Roth 401(k) options including company match * EAP plan that covers employees and household members ## Responsibilities As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for: * Conducting thorough reviews of legal documents, including contracts, emails, memos, and more, to identify crucial information and assess their relevance to ongoing legal matters. * Utilizing analytical skills and legal knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols and guidelines. * Collaborating seamlessly with other legal professionals, such as attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support teams, to achieve project objectives. * Organizing and managing reviewed documents using efficient document management systems. * Performing targeted legal research to support case development and strategy. * Adhering strictly to client confidentiality and data protection regulations, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards. * Complying with UnitedLex information security policies and reporting all security concerns, weaknesses and breaches. ## Requirements To qualify for this position, you must have the following: * Certificate from an ABA-approved Paralegal Education Program, an associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies * Home computer with “broadband” internet connection * Understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures * Proficiency in legal research, utilizing relevant databases and resources * Excellent attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills * Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and document review software (., Relativity, Reveal, Logikcull, etc.) * Familiarity with MS Office Suite, particularly Teams, Word, and Excel * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Prior experience or demonstrated understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information * Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively ## Job Type and Benefits This is a full-time, temporary position with the following benefits: * Competitive hourly rate of $21 per hour * Flexible Schedule: hours a week * Access to group health plan (medical, dental, and vision) * Three paid holidays per year (Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). * Basic Life * PTO * 401(k) and Roth 401(k) options including company match * EAP plan that covers employees and household members * Overtime opportunities on select projects paid for at time and a half ## Join Our Team Are you a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal looking for an opportunity to showcase your expertise? Standard hours of operation are 7am-7pm in your local time zone with core business hours of 10am-3pm. You are flexible to create your own schedule within the hours of operation, provided you actively communicate with your review manager.
