Thompson Hine LLP is a top-ranked law firm with multiple offices across the United States. We are currently seeking a Patent Litigation Associate to join our Intellectual Property group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to join our dynamic and growing team.

As a Patent Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for working on patent litigation cases, including drafting, responding to motions, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in patent litigation and preferably second or third chair experience. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

- Work on patent litigation cases, including drafting, responding to motions, and conducting legal research
- Support senior attorneys in all aspects of patent litigation
- Communicate with clients and participate in client meetings
- Prepare for and attend depositions and trials
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Minimum of four (4) years experience in patent litigation
- Second or third chair experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
