The ideal candidate will work independently, possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and have the ability to handle routine hearings, motions, and contested matters in Georgia. This role involves mentoring other attorneys, developing case strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections matters.

Job Duties:

• Work independently and with minimal supervision on legal matters.
• Handle routine, uncontested hearings and review and execute motions.
• Assist with the firm’s Georgia practice and handle hearings across the state.
• Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance on legal strategies.
• Monitor case progress and develop effective resolution strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal documents and financials.
• Draft and review pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Maintain updated documentation and recommendations in internal systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal legal requirements.
• Handle contested matters, including discovery and trials.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
• 3-5 years of litigation or collections experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in computer and office software.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
