The successful candidate will have a minimum of two to four years of experience in a litigation practice focused in Connecticut, with a preference for experience in construction litigation or engineering.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and oral communication skills, an excellent academic record, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team. They must also have the ability to assume significant responsibility and hands-on experience in a collaborative, sophisticated and team-oriented work environment.

In addition, they must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar.

## Job Responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and counsel on construction and public contracts
- Represent clients in state and federal courts and administrative hearings
- Research and analyze legal issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents
- Negotiate with opposing counsel
- Develop case strategies and provide litigation support
- Monitor developments in relevant laws and regulations

## Qualifications

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to Connecticut Bar
- Minimum two to four years of experience in a litigation practice focused in Connecticut
- Preference for experience in construction litigation or engineering
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Excellent academic record
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Ability to assume significant responsibility and hands-on experience in a collaborative, sophisticated and team-oriented work environment
