Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Attorney will be responsible for overseeing cases from start to finish, focusing primarily on business litigation matters. The role requires a proactive self-starter with excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong academic and professional background. Experience in construction or employment litigation is considered advantageous.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments and strategies.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Participate in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in business litigation.
• Membership in the California State Bar.
• Experience in construction or employment litigation is a plus.
• Strong academic record and excellent professional credentials.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Membership in the California State Bar.
