A law firm in St. Louis is in search of a Government Contracts Associate Attorney with substantial experience in federal government contract matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills, litigation interest, and the ability to work collaboratively within a legal team. An active Bar license in the state is required, with a preference for candidates currently practicing in the Washington, . metropolitan area and admitted to practice in Virginia or Maryland.

 

Job Duties:

  • Engage in matters related to federal government contracts, including contract compliance counseling, bid protests, claims litigation, and False Claims Act investigations.
  • Conduct research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic legal advice on contract-related issues.
  • Collaborate within a legal team to handle cases effectively and ensure client representation.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in federal government contract matters.
  • Proficiency in federal government contract matters, including bid protests, claims litigation, and compliance counseling.
  • Interest in litigation and a demonstrated ability to work within a legal team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active Bar license in the state.
