Salary and Experience Information

The salary for this position is $235,000 and will be adjusted based on qualifications and experience. Who We're Looking For

We are seeking someone with a strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, material science, or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of patent litigation experience and an active state bar membership with compliance to CLE requirements. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials are also a must. We are looking for someone who thrives on using their analytical skills to conduct complex legal analysis and enjoys communicating with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff. The ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and contribute to effective team relationships is also important to us.

About the Position

As a patent litigation associate, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases that require a deep understanding of technical concepts and legal strategy. You will have the chance to collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop and execute effective legal strategies for our clients. Responsibilities:

- Conducting legal research and analysis on complex patent litigation cases
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Participating in all stages of litigation, from case initiation to trial
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies
- Staying up-to-date on developments in patent law and industry trends

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, material science, or a closely related field
- 2+ years of patent litigation experience
- Active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements
- Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
