Bodman, a leading law firm, is seeking a Corporate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join our Business Practice Group. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have broad transactional experience and strong knowledge of buy-side and sell-side mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, private and public securities law matters, entity formations, and venture capital and private equity financing transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in general corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and related documents, handling and advising clients regarding securities law compliance matters, negotiating investment transactions, and drafting core company governance documents.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the firm and clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on cutting edge developments in the attorney’s practice area.
- Assist with training junior associates and support staff to further develop the team.

Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience as a transactional attorney in a broad corporate practice of a large or mid-sized law firm.
- . degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
- Licensed in Illinois, Michigan, California, or Texas in good standing; remote work options available for candidates outside of the firm’s geographic footprint.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of specialists and advise clients on various transactions as well as serve as outside general counsel for client principals and in-house counsel.
