Responsibilities of a Legal Intern at the PCAOB include: - Assisting attorneys and accountants with analyzing investigative materials and preparing reports based on their review. - Conducting research using legal databases and other web-based tools. - Assisting with comment letters and other public documents. - Working with project teams to support standard-setting activities. - Participating in public meetings, including those of the Board's Standing Advisory Group. - Performing other duties and special projects as needed. Qualifications for this position include: - Enrollment in an accredited law school. - A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. - Proficiency with Microsoft software and legal research databases. - Strong communication, time management, and organization skills. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision. - Fluency in another language is a plus.
