The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal counsel and representation to clients in various immigration matters. Duties:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in immigration matters, including:
- Family-based immigration
- Employment-based immigration
- Asylum
- Deportation defense
- Manage a diverse caseload and ensure the timely and effective handling of cases
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and file applications with government agencies
- Communicate with clients to understand their immigration goals and keep them informed about the progress of their cases
- Provide clear and concise explanations of legal options and potential outcomes
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each case
- Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to achieve efficient case management
- Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm on complex cases and legal strategies
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Bar in California
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law
- Strong knowledge of US immigration laws and procedures
- Excellent research and writing skills
