The Matian Firm, APC is seeking an admitted attorney for a promising Associate Criminal Defense Attorney position. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to advance their career with a well-established firm in the Dallas area. As the Associate Criminal Defense Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and have the chance to manage your own caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with our team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on legal rights and draw up necessary documents for their case
- Attend pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice to clients
- Manage court appearances, trials, and conduct legal research
- Analyze potential outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents
- Prioritize and manage workload of cases
- Provide legal analysis to determine potential case benefits
- Gather additional evidence to support client's case
- Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and experts

Qualifications:

- Experience handling complex criminal cases at all levels (federal, state, and local)
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Salary Information: $80,000 to $125,000 annually
