Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation, including premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death, and property cases
  • Manage a caseload independently and effectively
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery
  • Conduct depositions and participate in trial preparation
  • Negotiate settlements and manage client relationships
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal staff to strategize case approaches
  • Attend court hearings and depositions as required
  • Maintain a high level of organization and time management in handling cases

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-7 years of experience in litigation
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation and related legal processes
  • Experience with premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death, and property cases is preferred
  • Ability to handle cases independently and work collaboratively with a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar License

Skills:

  • Civil litigation expertise
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Experience with case management and legal document preparation
  • Proficiency in handling depositions and court appearances
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
