Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex, agriculture-based immigration cases while enjoying a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping clients navigate the intricacies of employment-based immigration law.

Duties:

  • Prepare, review, file, and monitor various immigration matters, particularly those related to agriculture-based cases.
  • Manage and resolve multiple immigration cases simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex legal issues, including drafting responses to audits, requests for evidence, and appeals.
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage caseloads effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Supervise and mentor paralegals, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Demonstrate exceptional client service, responding promptly to client inquiries via phone and email.
  • Fully understand client processes and maintain professional communication within the first 60 days.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California or the United States.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in employment-based immigration law is preferred.
  • Strong background in managing high-volume, fast-paced caseloads.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters with precision and clarity.
  • Proven track record of success in resolving immigration-related issues.

Education:

  • Must have completed a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar or other relevant . jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful approach to legal challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a strong organizational ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

  • Leadership skills, including the ability to supervise and train paralegals.
