The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of toxic tort defense experience. The Attorney will be responsible for handling toxic tort defense cases, representing clients in legal proceedings related to environmental and occupational exposure claims. The role involves providing legal counsel, conducting scientific and legal research, and advocating on behalf of clients in toxic tort matters.

Duties:

• Specialize in toxic tort defense.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings related to environmental and occupational exposure claims.
• Conduct scientific and legal research specific to toxic tort cases.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and defense tactics.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding risk management and defense strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of specific experience in toxic tort defense.
