ProfileContracts Manager Responsibilities: Represent the company to a variety of customers on transactional contracts and agreements for advanced satellite communications equipment and services. As the liaison between the company and the customer, will be empowered to propose, prepare and negotiate contracts that provide creative solutions to solve unique problems. Will lead a team in negotiations and exercise independent judgment in managing all phases of a variety of contracts and customer interactions. Identify and articulate key deal points and conduct transactional risk assessment and mitigation in order to prepare for negotiation is necessary. Communicate with various levels of internal management on contractual issues and offerings in order to develop and coordinate business positions and contractual terms.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA or JD degree would be preferred. 8+ years of contract management experience in government contracting. Advanced working knowledge in negotiating FAR Part 12, international and commercial terms and conditions. Superior proficiency in negotiating and drafting Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Software License Agreements, and Managed Service Agreements with a keen eye to recognize and minimize company risk. Demonstrate ability to support FAR Part 12 Commerciality and Price Analysis matters. Should have depth of expertise in commercial and government contracting practices, proposal compliance, terms and conditions and support of major government, commercial and international programs. Occasional travel may be required.
