Overview

B & D Behavioral Health Services began as LLD Group Homes, Inc a non-profit company that began in June 2004. LLD Group Homes Inc. had two divisions: a division of residential services which included a treatment facility for adolescent girls and a division of community based services (CBS) which provided psycho-educational and supportive services in various settings (school, home, community). In response to the unmet needs of our residential clientele we expanded services in July 2005 to incorporate case management and outpatient services. Our expansion was aimed to make our company a “one-stop-shop” for evidence-based mental health services. B & D is owned and operated by Leslie Bronner, MD,DrPH, licensed psychiatrist / medical director and Lauren Durant, PhD, licensed clinical psychologist / clinical director. They both have been trained at Duke University Medical Center in behavioral medicine and community based treatments. Dr. Bronner has additional training in psychopharmacology and medical treatment. In addition, they both are funded by the National Institutes of Health to conduct research in mental health.
