In 1942 Rose Bellerue started La Crosse Day Nursery to care for kids of working Moms during World War II. The nursery was located near downtown La Crosse, close to where parents lived and worked. That was 65 years ago, and even though a lot has changed, parents still want child care close to where they live and work today. So La Crosse Day Nursery became...La Crosse Day Care Centers, with six locations, in north and south La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen, and West Salem. After 65 years you get pretty good at taking care of kids. After 65 years La Crosse Day Care Centers, Inc. has become a part of many families.
