You Should Not Dabble: To Succeed It’s All or Nothing

Treat loyal hardworking employees with respect and appreciate them. Put together a manual especially bc she is so obsessed with policies
No good points
Constant harassment from office manager. When I was forced to leave bc of constant harassment due to working really hard (she is obsessed with bringing good employees down a few pegs instead of appreciating), I was told my last paycheck would be in the mail instead of direct deposit even though I was still physically there. Then I was told my $400 in OT would be mailed in a separate check 2 weeks later. I knew there would be problems bc she was so spiteful. I never received it. I found out they took out deductions and put it in my 401k as a non employee. It’s oxymoronic-I was an employee and the last check won’t be direct deposited-I’m no longer an employee and the decision is made without consulting me to put it in my 401k so I have to wait until I’m 67 years old to see that money. Plus if it goes in 401 k, it’s supposed to be tax free. Always quoting “firm policies” as a weapon when the firm has no manual so we have to take her word for it, which she has been wrong on occasion
I had no problem with partners although it is not a warm atmosphere
No favorite things
Appreciate good workers and create a manual so the employees know what the policies are
Nothing
The office manager was obsessed with making hardworking employees feel like they were being punished for working. She constantly used “per firm policies” to make life miserable. The firm does not have a policy manual
You need to treat employees with respect.
Absolutely nothing
Not friendly, cold place to work, very bossy, complicated systems and office manager has a chip on her shoulder
Respect and acknowledge hard working employees.
The office manager uses her position as a weapon and is very nasty. She has her favorites. If you are not one of them, you will feel her wrath. The place is very unfriendly, cold, and disorganized. The administration looks down on employees. You can work all day nonstop and you are not appreciated. The bonuses are terrible. It is the worst place I have ever worked. There is a mean streak in the administration.
Pay employees what they are worth, even support staff. Reward employees with events and things they can look forward to. Too much "buddy buddy" attitude with upper management.
Working at Rawle looks good on your resume. Holiday bonus, vacation, sick time, and holiday pay. Occasional summer event and Christmas party.
Secretaries and attorney's are cliquey. They either like you or they don't. Some attorneys never have time to show newbies "the ropes" and new associates are left wondering what to do. Upper management is a dumpster fire and needs a complete overhaul. Rawle is also tight with a buck, so don't be surprised if they are using outdated software and not up to code with IT backup systems. Its a wonder this place makes a profit, since they double and triple bill for the same work.
Too many to mention.
Now that I think of it, nothing,.
There need to be opportunities offered by the firm to staff so they are able to grow in their careers. Salary should be increased amongst employees who have worked hard and effectively.
The firm is made up of good people that createa positive work environment. The law firm offers the opportunity to learn and grow in the legal practice field.
The salary for the amount of work employees perform is low. It is difficult to advance at the firm since there is a lack of opportunities to grow in one's career.
Thank you.
