What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
If you are into business and corporate culture than you need to work at this firm. If you are more law driven and prefer a traditional law firm structure than I would not suggest working for this company.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I started working for this firm several years ago. Was very proud to work for such an old and large firm. There are many national and international clients. It is full of very smart people. It also has a strong large corporate like culture. It also pays very well and provides many great benefits. The work is also very challenging and very large scale.

What did you not like about this institution?
The problem I had with this company is that it is set up like a fortune 500 company and not a law firm. The culture is very corporate and those with that kind of previous experience or background do much better than those like me with purely legal background. If you are well versed in corporate jargon and structure you will love this place if not then it is not a very good place to work.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
I'd like to see us expand in the right direction and hire some new attorney's and other professionals. I feel as though having more hands to help during work hours will help ease everyone's work load.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I really enjoy the fact that this firm has kept up to date in regards to the latest advancements in the field. I also really enjoy working with everyone and the pay is excellent.

What did you not like about this institution?
I have seen other workers take on more than they could handle on more occasions than I'd like to admit. There have been times in which I had to work well after usual office hours myself.

I had the displeasure of working at Thompson Hine LLP and I can say without hesitation that it was an unfavorable experience. The arrogance of the attorneys created a hostile work environment and they frequently spoke down to employees, making it a terrible place to work.
