What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
As with many firms, this job will be what you make of it. There are ways to do well here if you set your mind to it. If you make a great impression on the top brass, you might get the chance to make partner.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
You will definitely get a chance to shine here. The senior attorneys are known for giving solid cases and clients to new lawyers to get their feet wet. Many new associates will appreciate this implicit trust in them from the start.
What did you not like about this institution?
The opportunities to advance to partnership at this firm are few and far between. You might toil for years with paperwork and busy work that the senior lawyers throw at you. There are limits to the size of this firm's practice, so if you want to practice in a specialized area, you may need to look elsewhere for another opportunity.

Changing staff amongst the Senior attorneys would allow for more growth in knowledge and make up for the lack of advancement available.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This firm stands out for the fact that the Senior attorney like to give the new hires solid cases to work on. This shows a level of trust that is rare today.
What did you not like about this institution?
Advancing in this firm is rare. The Senior associates like to make never-ending promises to keep their staff working on their cases.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
While the going is good they are goody two shoes.
What did you not like about this institution?
The management went into the crisis wishing and hoping it was a two month deal. They did not cut expenses and ultimately decided to take it all out on select attorneys. Financially they are probably hurting worse than others.
