Pleasant, but Too ""Political""

Employees that aren't part of the ""in-group"" are not being used to the best of their potential, and I have seen them become discouraged as a result. Figure out how to make the office more merit-based without damaging the otherwise pleasant vibe.

The work-life balance is pretty reasonable, and they have occasional parties and events that help build team rapport. All and all, the atmosphere tends to be pretty laid back. That said, these strengths also sometimes actually contribute to certain negative elements of the firm's culture becoming more noticeable.

Office politics come into play far too often. Some people get away with doing less than their fair share, or with receiving desirable work they otherwise wouldn't get, because of their connections with others in the firm and their seniority.
