About the Role:

- Full-time, regular position with competitive salary and benefits
- Opportunity to work with both clients and internal personnel on a wide array of SALT matters and subjects
- Participate in tax research and analysis, including income and indirect tax nexus, apportionment and revenue sourcing, sales taxability matrices, credits and incentives, SALT planning and implementation, M&A SALT due diligence, and SALT controversies
- Work in a highly interactive and dynamic team environment within Citrin Cooperman’s National SALT practice

Qualifications:

- BS in Accounting, LLM or master’s in taxation preferred
- CPA and/or JD preferred
- 10+ years of tax experience, with at least 4 years exclusively in SALT
- Strong research and communication skills, both written and oral
- Comprehensive understanding of multi-state tax concepts
- Highly organized and able to build strong team relationships
- Willingness to learn and apply new concepts in a fast-paced environment

Salary Information:

- Salary range of $150,000 - $260,000 for positions in New York and California
- Actual compensation within the range dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws
