Tax Senior - National Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group

Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax specialist with expertise in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and excel in client consultation
- Refine skillset by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, financial products, and more
- Deliver value to clients experiencing public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, and client executives
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and ongoing services during the year
- Develop understanding of public monetization transactional process and tax receivable agreements
- Create technology based on federal income tax principles for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients
- Determine and solve complexities with . federal income tax impact of public offerings
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance Deloitte initiatives

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS offers various tax services developed from tax planning ideas, marketplace drivers, and technological innovations
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a work-hard/play-hard mentality
- NFTS provides tax planning for largest organizations across all industries
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line within NFTS
- OPS professionals counsel partnerships on federal tax issues and transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and more
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, and more

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model (in-person and remote)
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client and industry served
- One of the following accreditations (CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CFA)

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience

Salary Information:

- Wage range is $77,070 to $175,500, taking into account various factors such as skills, experience, and location
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
