The successful candidate will provide critical guidance to clients, collaborating with attorneys and stakeholders to achieve business goals. Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients to provide crucial guidance on achieving business objectives. Advise dynamic and innovative healthcare clients across various phases of their businesses, focusing on regulatory compliance, government investigations, litigation, and strategic transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day compliance counseling on key health care regulatory requirements such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state-specific regulations.
  • Defend clients in government investigations and litigation related to healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Assist in structuring strategic transactions while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Stay abreast of developments in healthcare law and provide proactive advice to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience specializing in regulatory matters within the healthcare sector.
  • Admitted to the Bar in the state.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Familiarity with HIPAA, health care privacy laws, data breach regulations, Knox-Keene Act, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise (DCD) program.
  • Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, work effectively within a team, and communicate directly with clients regularly.
