Job Summary: As a Senior Associate on our National Tax Services team, you will play a crucial role in advising and assisting our clients in achieving measurable results. This may include helping them obtain and maintain tax-exempt status, identifying planning opportunities, and ensuring compliance with tax requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and industries, and use your technical skills to provide tax compliance and consulting services. Responsibilities: - Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness and address development areas - Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities and coach them to deliver results - Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to solve complex business issues - Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry trends - Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance - Seek and embrace opportunities for exposure to different situations, environments, and perspectives - Communicate effectively and build quality relationships with others - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation - Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations - Preferred: Juris Doctorate degree - Preferred: CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar certification - Programming experience in SAS or equivalent statistical software - Knowledge of Exempt Organization tax issues, compliance, and consulting - Experience with Forms 990, 990 PF, 1120, 1065, and 1040 Preferred Skills: - Researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view for proposals - Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment - Experience with pricing and negotiation processes - Ability to work with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools Why Work at PwC?
