Responsibilities of a Tax Manager at PPS include:

- Developing new skills outside of your comfort zone
- Resolving issues that prevent the team from working effectively
- Coaching and recognizing the strengths of team members
- Analyzing complex ideas and making meaningful recommendations
- Using multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations
- Addressing sub-standard work and ensuring it meets the firm's expectations
- Using data and insights to inform decision-making
- Developing a point of view on global trends and their impact on clients
- Managing a variety of viewpoints to create positive outcomes
- Simplifying complex messages and summarizing key points
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Requirements for the Tax Manager position:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred qualifications for the Tax Manager position:

- Extensive knowledge and success in roles involving tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions
- Experience with interpreting and applying relevant aspects of the US Tax Code, such as 704(b), 704(c), 707, 751, 734, 743(b)
- Consulting and modeling experience with a wide range of M&A and equity transactions
- Marketing and business development skills
- Ability to interpret, prepare, and process complex information related to partnership allocations
- Experience collaborating across disciplines to design and implement systems and process enhancements
- Strong skills in creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets and data analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report-writing skills
- Ability to participate in client discussions and meetings
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Experience with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools
- Ability to utilize digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
- Demonstrated success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling services with a "One Firm" service mindset
