Job Title: Associate General Counsel, Litigation Salary: $198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Location: Los Angeles, CA Austin, TX Menlo Park, CA Washington, DC New York, NY San Francisco, CA Chicago, IL Meta is seeking an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join their team as an Associate General Counsel for the NORAM Litigation team. This role requires strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning about new technologies and areas of law. As an Associate General Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work on novel issues in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Meta client teams to identify and disrupt online abuse and ensure compliance with Meta's Terms, Policies, and Licenses - Direct investigations of online abuse in preparation for litigation - Manage and develop strategies for various litigation and pre-litigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust disputes, and other related matters - Work with and manage outside counsel - Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risk - Coordinate and participate in internal discovery activities with the eDiscovery team - Develop creative solutions to manage legal risks and resolve disputes Minimum Qualifications: - - 8+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role, with experience in plaintiff-side litigation - 3+ years of investigations experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role - Ability to think strategically and manage multiple high-priority projects independently Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with non-legal professionals - Excellent drafting and advocacy skills - Trial and appellate experience - Familiarity with highly technical, software-related subject matters About Meta: Meta is a technology company that focuses on building tools to help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
