Tax Manager, Tax Automation & Innovation:

The Tax Manager, Tax Automation & Innovation is responsible for implementing tax automation tools and collaborating with clients and team members. They will also be responsible for marketing, networking, and business development. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience with technology or tax systems. The individual must also have a CPA certification or equivalent and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. The role offers a salary range of $76,000 - $160,000 and may require up to 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement tax automation tools and strategies for clients
- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop unique strategies aligned with business objectives
- Market, network, and develop new business opportunities
- Assess client tax departments and determine areas in need of automation
- Manage client expectations and requirements
- Draft proposals and business cases for potential clients
- Oversee project delivery and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate complex technical information to target audiences
- Manage workload and provide review comments for team members
- Stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and trends
- Travel as needed to client sites

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology
- 5+ years of experience with technology or tax systems
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with tax accounting, consulting, or income tax compliance preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
